Topic : Bullying is a big problem in many schools. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest? |
Answer :
In order to address the problem of bullying in school, its causes such as easy approach to violent media and lack of attention from parents must be clearly understood by society. To accomplish this, the most practical solution would be to pay attention to students so that they cannot have the opportunity to approach harmful media.
These days, bullying in school is principally caused by students using the Internet thoughtlessly. This issue has occurred because students are exposed to harmful and violent media by development of the Internet. They are immature so they sometimes can not distinguish what is a wrong act. For example, they would behave violently against other students since they just try to imitate the violent media. This shows that violence can stem from the thoughtless experiences originated by harmful media.
To alleviate the prevalent causes of bullying in school, parents and teachers should promote the awareness about the destructive impact of the harmful media. Parents should pay more attention to their children’s media usage and restrict time of using the Internet. Also, teachers should provide education about healthy Internet culture for their students regularly. As a result of this method, students can avoid unhealthy media and reduce violent behavior against others. This demonstrates that protecting students from harmful media can solve the widespread problem of bullying in school.
To conclude, the causes related to the problem of bullying in school can be sufficiently alleviated if people acknowledge the fact that society must formulate effective solutions.
