' The gap between rich and poor is increasing. What problems does it cause? ' issue

Topic :

The gap between rich and poor is increasing. What problems does it cause? What solutions can you suggest?

Answer :

Today, the world seems to be a materialistic society. Money makes impossible possible and accelerates inequality. Future generations inherit the same standards of living. In this essay, I will discuss this prolonged problem and its solution.

An existence of the poor and the rich means that students should study harder and workers should be hard workers. It is important especially in today’s elite centered society. Highly paid jobs require expensive training, but in the first place, poorer parents cannot invest in their children until they are fully trained. They often end up having jobs that are neither well paid nor enjoyable. They have to work not allowing extra time for a personal life like their parents.

In order to address today’s disparity of wealth, disparity of opportunities should first be reduced. A reason for the gap is because richer parents provide their children with more educational opportunities. If governments provide the same opportunities for poorer families, everyone will be able to have fair standards of living. For example, governments with educational facilities can coach the young not just about job training but also job matching. This guaranteed career success will help them.

In conclusion, a gap between the rich and the poor definitely exists and affects families’ next generation. The help from governments is needed now. If the problem continues, the future of today’s society will also be affected.
