Answer :
While more and more people insist that it is required to introduce capital punishment policy in current society, it has been still pending since quite a long time ago due to the different opinions between the pros and cons of it. In this essay, I will describe both the positive and negative effects on society by implementing the death penalty policy and my personal view of it.
All in all, although it is not easy to put into force in establishing capital punishment as an official government law, beginning the death penalty may have a lot of phenomenal effects on people’s better life in a safe environment country. The implementation of capital punishment in China and India which resulted in a low rate of crime compared to the past is a typical example. As a natural consequence, it makes criminals feel fear prior to committing criminal actions and it leads to a reduction in the cases and prevents the immediate wrong behavior significantly.
When it comes to the bad things of the death penalty, some people believe that it is fairly important that every single person shall have a human right and it all people have the right reserve to be respected even if the people sometimes could make a mistake given the whole life. Furthermore, giving a chance and forgiving the people who committed violent crimes could be able to reborn those in a new life if they live in jail rather than be given the death penalty.
In my view, I strongly argue that the implementation of capital punishment is mandatory and essential to protect dangerous society and maintain a warm friendly living environment even though others believe that it is not necessary. It is not because of long term arguments, but it is because those who such as my family, friends, and someone around me could become victims. Once again, I personally believe it shall be to put into force as quickly as possible and look forward to the government’s appropriate action sometime in the near future.
