Today, lots of celebrities present their thoughts on social issues. In this regard, it is often argued that it is helpful for the society to have more influencers who speak up what they believe. I also agree with this statement, and in this essay, I will discuss the constructive leading effects that their decisions have on controversial topics.
Expressing stars’ personal thoughts can promote immediate changes in behaviours of their fans and the public. The focus of the fans is always towards their stars, and they are ready to react and will try to find meanings everywhere. If the famous people already have many followers on social networks, for example, it would be easy for them to make their fans to also react to public issues because what the stars believe is a religion for the fans.
Influencers’ action of expressing is also inspiring in itself when the topic is sensitive or is about political theory. Still in many countries, freedom is an expensive topic that costs lives of many people who claimed it. However, from the past across the world, there have always been people who bravely claimed the human right without a second thought. Similar actions have been seen until today, and it reminds the public of people now in history who once lived in this existing world.
In conclusion, some famous people give their opinions publicly, and this has advantages. Their action makes more people want to do something about important issues, and their message makes them feel that the best way to do it is to do it.
