Air travel is overly resource consuming, and it is expected to be reduced in the future. In this regard, it is often argued that there will be more advantages of the decrease. However, I disagree with this statement. In this essay, I will discuss its disadvantages.
People will have to travel for more hours without airway. This condition will make people on a business trip not be punctual. When there are limited departures and seats, there will be less departure times to choose according to their own busy schedules. If there is no right flight for them, they would have to change their way to get their destination or will miss a business meeting.
A change of aviation will also affect the tourism industry as a whole. Tour companies rely most of their incomes on air travel because it costs more customers more money than any other travel methods such as tour buses. The businesses often become more profitable on holidays when more travellers want to travel abroad. However, reduction of air travel will make their holiday boring and take away their interests on travel.
In conclusion, air travel reduction has more disadvantages. It will affect travel hours and related businesses.
